Tuition & Fee Schedule
It is our goal at Christ Classical Academy (CCA) to offer as many students as possible the opportunity to have a Christian, classical education. As an independent, private school we are not financially supported by a church. All expenses of the school including everyday working expenses, programs, enrichment, technology, utilities, etc. come from the tuition of the students enrolled at CCA. We work to balance honoring GOD with our finances while keeping tuition low and reasonable for each student.
*CCA Families, you need to re-enroll your current CCA students through your FACTS Family Portal! If you have not established a FACTS family portal yet, please contact us, and we will help you.
Use the button above to enroll any NEW siblings to CCA.

Parent Re-Enrollment Reference Sheet for 2026-2027 School Year
When re-enrolling at CCA, the application process looks a little different for each family, considering your circumstances. This reference sheet will help you navigate all the different steps of the application process for your family. Check through all the steps to determine if you need to complete that step. If you can’t determine if that step is for you, please feel free to contact us, and we can walk you through the process.
Application Checklist:
1. ____ CCA Application-Required by ALL families for re-enrollment. You can find the updated Tuition and Fees Schedules, Payment Options, this Reference Sheet, etc. for your review on our CCA website at www.cca4god.org. To fill out an application, you will need to go to your FACTS family portal. (You will no longer be able to fill out the Re-Enrollment applications on our website.)
· _____ Registration Fee-$250/family (non-refundable) This is required to hold your child’s spot in a classroom. It is to be submitted with your child/ren’s application, and can be paid by:
1.) Bringing it into the front office
2.) Mailing it to: CCA PO Box 70 Rutherford College, NC 28671
3.) Paying it on the Admissions page of the CCA website www.cca4god.org
4.) ****CANNOT be paid in the FACTS portal!
2. ____ Opportunity Scholarship Application-This is only required if you would like to receive the scholarship. It is a separate application from the CCA application. You can see the details of this scholarship and find the application at NCSEAA. The application process is different for a NEW recipient than a Renewal recipient.
· NEW Recipients-If this is your first time receiving the scholarship, below are some highlights about the scholarship and a priority time frame you will want to make sure you fill out your application by on their website. To learn more details and to apply, you will need to visit their website at: https://k12.ncseaa.edu/opportunity-scholarship/
1.) The scholarship for new recipients is a lottery. They begin with Tier 1 pulling names like a lottery, and then they move down the list until they get to Tier 4.
2.) The scholarship is for North Carolina families of students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade. (Transitional Kindergarten students do not qualify for the scholarship.)
3.) Awards range from approximately $3,000 to $7,000, based on a family’s household income. (You can see the breakdown of the tiers and the income cut-offs on the NCSEAA website.)
4.) The Opportunity Scholarship money can be used to pay for tuition and other required fees to attend registered private schools. (At CCA, it can cover all tuition and fees except the family Registration Fee of $250)
5.) Priority Opportunity Scholarship enrollment opens February 2, 2026 and generally stays open for 1 month. You can still apply after that month, but you do not receive priority.
6.) In order for CCA to see any of your information, you need to designate Christ Classical Academy as your school of choice.
7.) 1.) Here is a link with detailed directions on how to calculate your income for the scholarship: https://k12.ncseaa.edu/media/on0ha3on/ops-calculate-income.pdf
8.) Just a note, this scholarship is not awarded to CCA, it is awarded to the student.
· Renewal Recipient-If you received the Opportunity Scholarship last year, you will need to watch your email and check your family portal. NCSEAA will send you directions on how to re-enroll and your deadlines. Usually, you have until June to submit all of your information. We recommend you submit it as soon as possible so that you know if you fall into a new tier from last year. This will allow you to know how much money you will receive from the scholarship and how much money you will owe out of pocket.
3. ____ ESA+ Scholarship Application-The ESA+ scholarship is for students with disabilities who require special education services. When you apply, you will be asked to submit your student’s Eligibility Determination. This is a legal document issued by a public school that determines whether a student has a disability and is eligible for special education or related services. Here are some highlights about the program:
· There are 2 levels of funding. The base level of funding is a $9,000 annual award; students with certain designated disabilities may be eligible to receive a $17,000 annual award.
· Funds can be used for K12 school tuition as well as certain allowable expenses such as speech therapy, tutoring, and educational technology.
· Applications will open February 2, 2026.
· You can receive both the ESA+ Scholarship and the Opportunity Scholarship. It is recommended that you apply for both if you qualify.
4. ____ Liberty University Online Academy (LUOA)- LUOA provides 3 options for CCA students in 7th to 12th Grade only. These classes are an extra cost as they broaden a student’s options. You can find the cost breakdown on the Tuition & Fees Schedule on our CCA website. To apply, please contact Mr. Robert Puckett our Admissions & Guidance Counselor. (robert.puckett.jr@gmail.com)
· LUOA is ONLY for:
o Electives or other approved classes not available at CCA, as requested by parents and the student
o Classes below current grade level- requires Head of School’s approval and will normally require a Covenant between CCA and the parents. For classes below grade level, the Covenant may also require “enhanced” classes at a cost per semester, which includes:
§ Weekly online tutoring sessions with the teacher
§ Pre-test student/teacher conferences
§ Semester parent/teacher conferences
o Classes above current grade level-requires Principal’s approval
5. ____ Liberty University Online- LUO Dual Enrollment classes are only for CCA students in 11th and 12th grade. You can find the cost breakdown on the Tuition & Fees Schedule on our CCA website. To apply, please contact Mr. Robert Puckett our Admissions & Guidance Counselor. (robert.puckett.jr@gmail.com)
· Students are required to have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, with no grades below a “C” to qualify.
· Classes will be substituted for CCA courses on a semester-to-semester basis.
· A single LUO class of 3-4 semester hours will be substituted for a semester of the comparable CCA class, based on a pre-approved list.
· Exceptions or additions to the list may be requested, subject to approval by the Head of School or Board, as appropriate.
· Only classes approved for substitution will be reflected on the CCA High School Diploma or be given Honors credit.
· Substitutions can be for elective credit, if approved, up to the normal number of classes taken by students at CCA.
· A maximum of 36 semester hours of LUO courses can be taken under the LUOA Affiliate agreement
· Courses can be taken without substitution credit, but will only be found on the LUO College transcript, not the CCA High School Transcript.
Important Procedures for the upcoming year:
1. Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Testing for Kindergarten-All students entering Kindergarten are required to take an Entrance Test, whether they are new students or attending our current Transitional Kindergarten. We partner with Cornerstone Counseling for our Entrance Testing for Kindergarten. In an effort to make it convenient for our TK families, we offer Cornerstone Counseling Entrance Testing on our campus during school hours. Aimee Sullivan, from Cornerstone, will set up testing days with the school, and will test each TK student over the course of the designated Testing days. These days usually begin in February. Parents are responsible for the Cornerstone Counseling Testing Fee, which will be billed to you. Please let us know before February if you do not intend for your child to enroll in our Kindergarten, so we do not include them in the on-site testing. The cost for the testing is $225-$305. If you do not get tested on site and change your mind, you will need to schedule your testing with Cornerstone Counseling (439 1st Ave NW Hickory, NC 28601/828-322-4941) on your own before being admitted to Kindergarten.
2. FACTS-FACTS is our Student Information System. We use this system for:
· Re-Enrollment-You will need to go to your family portal to submit your applications for the 2026-2027 school year and make any updates to your family information. (The family Registration Fee-$250 will be submitted directly to CCA, NOT through FACTS.)
· We will continue to use FACTS as our platform for:
o Parent/Teacher Communication
o Managing Grades, Transcripts, Attendance, Homework, etc.
o Emergency Notifications
o School Calendar of Events
· We will no longer use FACTS as our financial platform. In July 2026, we will be returning to Quickbooks as our financial platform. Because of this , we will also return to Munch-a-Lunch for our lunches next school year. We will finish this school year with FACTS financials and lunches, but beginning in JULY 2026, all money will be paid directly to CCA. You will no longer submit any payments to FACTS. All invoice billing will be emailed to you directly, and offer you the option to pay it in person using cash, check, or credit card, or by credit card through the invoice.
· Please make sure that FACTS emails from all CCA faculty or staff are identified through your settings as recognized and NOT SPAM so that you will receive all communication.
